How Absurdle works

Absurdle, by Sam Hughes (qntm), is an adversarial Wordle: the secret word keeps changing so that your guesses remain legal for as long as possible.

  1. Type any valid five-letter word.
  2. The game picks a remaining word list that makes your guess as unhelpful as possible.
  3. Green and yellow tiles still mean correct letter and position — but the answer is not fixed until only one word remains.
